iLife Educator Award Winners: Possible GenYES Projects
At one time Apple sponsored a contest called the Apple iLife Educator Awards. This was created to recognize the most innovative uses of iLife, an integrated suite of Appleās award-winning software for digital music, photography, moviemaking and DVD creation, in the classroom. Below are some of the 2003 award winners. These examples are a great addition to the GenYES projects that you can show GenYES students and partner teachers when they are thinking of engaging and unique technology integrated projects. Even though all of these projects were produces using the Apple iLife series, the ideas and concepts transfer to whatever platform you may be using.
I feel contests are a great way to get students and other teachers involved, engaged and excited about technology. Here are some other contest I found on the Education World site that range in grade level and technology experience. Check them out because the first deadlines are coming up.
