		<description>I love the idea of the majority rule -- up or down. Definitely something to keep in mind.

I think longer sessions can work too -- if we question the notion of what a session is. I liked the longer format for EduCon, because I really did think in the sessions I was able to go to. 

I hope we never all think we have &quot;Conference 2.0&quot; figured out. Let&#039;s keep inventing new models, let&#039;s keep playing with different styles. I like what we did for EduCon. I&#039;m excited to try it again next year, but I&#039;m excited to go see what other folks figure out too.

How about ConferenceCon -- a meta-conference where all the sessions are about ways to run a conference. ;)</description>

The value of a conference is seldom the sessions. If you find ONE that&#039;s any good in a three or four day conference, you&#039;re doing well. The real value is in the connections you form at the meals, at the bar, in the hallways complaining about what a crappy preso you both just left. 

The problem is funding. Nobody wants to fund the value ... They want to fund the myth.</description>
